The AFFO is delighted to announce the publication of its new white paper: "La transmission de l'entreprise familiale: Réflexions théoriques et pratiques".

A true AFFO tradition, this ninth publication is the latest addition to our collection devoted to key themes in the practice of family offices. Previous publications include:

- Private assets
- Strategic asset allocation for families
- Sustainable investment
- Real estate
- Philanthropy
- Risk management
- Family governance
- Education and training

Written by recognized experts, these books provide in-depth insight into the wealth and human issues facing the families we support.

This latest opus was produced by the AFFO "Legislation and Taxation" Commission, chaired by Jérome Barré (Yards), with the active and invaluable collaboration of Amandine Allix-Cieutat (EY), Angélique Devaux (Cheuvreux), Jean-Hugues de la Berge (CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats) and Olivier Janoray (Arsene Taxand). Many thanks to this remarkable team for their involvement in this project.

The transfer of a family business is much more than a technical operation: it touches on history, emotions and the future. Any decision affecting a legacy handed down from generation to generation raises many questions, sometimes tensions, often great responsibilities.

But one thing is certain: the key to successful transmission is anticipation. Act when things are going well, and weather the storms calmly.

The white paper is available on theAFFO website
