Les Rencontres Annuelles - December 3, 2024
December 3 - As tradition would have it, the AFFO Annual Meeting took place at the Cercle de l'Union Interalliée. Our 2 speakers, Matthieu Leclercq, President and Founder of FOR TALENTS, and Eric de Seynes, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hermès International, shared their multiple experiences and thoughts on the theme of "Successful transmission of family businesses, a source of future and sustainable growth for France". During the morning, the Legislation and Wealth Taxation Commission, with Jérôme Barré, Chairman, Amandine Allix-Cieutat and Angélique Devaux, presented the White Paper to be published in 2025 on the transfer of family businesses. Last but not least, the AFFO Prize was awarded by Myriam Combet, President of the Education and Training Commission, to Cécile Thon, of Paris Dauphine PSL University, for her dissertation entitled Le foncier rural et forestier comme classe d'actifs.
